Why is my event not showing on the Local Events page?

After an event is created, it will not appear on the public Operation Christmas Child Local Events page until it has been reviewed and made Active by Regional Office staff. 

If an event has been edited, it will disappear from the map until it has been reviewed and made Active again by Regional Office staff.  Please notify your Regional Office if you edit an event and the status is no longer Active.

If your event is Active on the MyEvents page, but it is not visible at the expected location on the Local Events map, there is likely a problem with the address entered in the event.  It may have put the location far from the correct location if it could not locate the address given.

* Recheck the address entered to verify that it is the correct address.  

* Enter the same address in another map such as Google Maps to see if it finds the expected location.
